About
Deb grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and loved being outside and active, but was not a high school or collegiate runner. It wasn’t until she turned 30 and after the birth of her daughter Madi, did she complete her first marathon. Falling in love with the endurance lifestyle, Deb continued running marathons, transitioning to ultrarunning and 25 years later has success completing 150+ races of marathon distance up to 250 miles.
Although Deb has had many win successes in the past, it is the community of ultrarunning and love of being outside on the trails that fills her soul. With the deep desire to share her love of the sport with others, Deb founded Kestrel Coaching. It is important to spread the message that you are never too old to get out on the trails and this community has a place for you.
Deb looks forward to racing & adventuring on trails and in the mountains for the next 25 years.
